- 1 tbsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp coriander seeds
- 1 tsp fennel seeds
- 1 tsp ajwain seeds (carom seeds)
- 1 black cardamom pod
Roast the spices on a dry skillet over medium heat, about five minutes or until the spices turn a few shades darker and fragrant.
Grind to a powder in a spice grinder and store in an air-tight container.
