How to make  perfect  rotis

Roti is a soft, whole-wheat flatbread that can be found across India's various cuisines. Learn how to make tasty and perfect roti at home. 

INGREDIENTS

- 2 cups whole wheat atta flour - 1/2 teaspoon salt - Vegetable oil or cooking spray - Water

INSTRUCTIONS

Place flour and salt in a large bowl.

Trickle in water and knead until a smooth, supple dough forms. Put the dough back in the bowl. Cover and set aside for at least 30 minutes.

KNEAD THE DOUGH

Divide the dough into 12 balls. If you prefer smaller roti, make smaller balls.  Keep the dough balls covered while you roll out each roti.

DIVIDE THE DOUGH

Using a rolling pin, roll each ball of dough into an even and fairly thin round.
