Simple but yummy watermelon smoothie
This simple watermelon smoothie is the most requested recipe in my home each summer. It's so simple to make, with just watermelon, nondairy milk and vanilla, and you don't even need sugar!
There's so much to love here: the smoothie is creamy, frothy, sweet but not cloyingly so, and it looks gorgeous. Best of all, it tastes so, so good, especially when it's hot outside.
Recipe FAQs
Any creamy nondairy milk like soymilk or oat milk is great in this smoothie.
You don't need the ice cream but it's delicious and makes the smoothie very kid friendly. My son Jay loved his smoothie with a dollop of vanilla ice cream but I like to drink mine plain.
You can store the smoothie in the fridge for a day but you might need to run it through the blender one more time before serving.

Hello I read your recipe for the black bean burger. It looks wonderful I'm willing to try it and I thank you for that recipe instead of using Chipotle can I use Verde sauce? I like the verde. How nice of you to share.
